De LG SC9S soundbar biedt een indrukwekkende geluidskwaliteit met heldere stemmen en krachtige bas, vooral bij films en series. Dankzij Dolby Atmos en DTS:X is het geluid ruimtelijk en meeslepend. De installatie is eenvoudig en de soundbar werkt naadloos samen met LG TV's, vooral via de meegeleverde bracket. Er zijn veel aansluitmogelijkheden, waaronder HDMI 2.1 en eARC. Voor een echt surround effect zijn echter extra achterspeakers nodig, die niet standaard worden meegeleverd. Sommige gebruikers vinden de handleiding en de LED-indicatoren verwarrend, en de subwoofer levert niet altijd de allerlaagste bastonen. Over het algemeen is dit een veelzijdige en krachtige soundbar, maar voor volledig surroundgeluid zijn uitbreidingen nodig.

The quality of sound is worth the investment. However, I found the instructions for set up difficult to follow. Be that as it may, I managed without assistance eventually. Location of the bluetooth confirmation light on the front of the sub-woofer would be a design improvement (ln my view)

Great sounds and very easy to set up. We love the Bluetooth facility which allows us to play our music from our phones and downloads.

An upfiring driver in the middle of this soundbar is a nice addition, but other bars have better features.

The LG SC9 is very good for mixed usage. This 3.1.3 bar has two center channels to ensure that dialogue is clear in the mix with both movies and TV shows. A dedicated subwoofer brings the thump and rumble in action-packed scenes as well as bass-heavy music. With lots of customization options, you're able to switch up the sound to your liking, too. That said, the bar has to downmix surround sound formats like Dolby Digital into stereo, resulting in a less immersive experience. You'll have to add on a separate rear speaker kit to improve its surround sound.
