Garmin Venu X1 Zwart is een GPS-smartwatch met een rechthoekige behuizing van circa 41 x 46 x 7,9 mm, een 2 inch AMOLED kleurenscherm en een nylon of siliconen polsband. Het horloge weegt ongeveer 40 gram inclusief band en heeft een waterdichtheid van 5 ATM. De interne opslagcapaciteit bedraagt 32 GB en de batterij werkt tot 8 dagen in smartwatchmodus en tot ongeveer 16 uur in gps-modus. Het model is compatibel met Android- en iOS-telefoons.

Large easy to read face.Looks dressier than most Garmins.So much better than an Apple Watch with battery life and much more features.I hesitated due to the price but it’s worth it.

Best in wrist wearables for Action types. Biggest rugged and robust screen face, variable readable fonts, two buttons only, elegant adjustable red-on-black stap, a convenient torch and modern watchfaces. A Garmin for all outdoor reasons!

Ik ben heel tevreden over de Garmin Venu X1. Het horloge voelt kwalitatief en comfortabel aan. Omdat het een titanium uurwerk is, heb ik er ook geen last van ondanks mijn nikkelallergie, wat voor mij een groot pluspunt is. Ik kan het zonder irritatie de hele dag dragen. Hiervoor had ik een Samsung smartwatch. Die vond ik iets intuïtiever in gebruik. Bij Garmin moet je in het begin even zoeken waar alles zit, maar eens je ermee vertrouwd bent, werkt het heel vlot. De coachingsschema's vind ik erg goed, vooral voor meer gevorderde lopers die gericht willen trainen. Voor beginners zou ik eerder de Start 2 Run app aanraden. Wat ik zelf heel handig vind, is de functie Training Readiness. Zo krijg je een duidelijk beeld van hoe klaar je lichaam is om te trainen.

Venu x1 is an excellent upgrade from my 4.5 years old 945 LTE. For this 78 year old the bright big screens are perfect :). I use it for running, cycling, rowing, swimming, strength training and yoga. The data I can monitor (power, training effects, loads, vertical ratio and oscillation, much more) are valuable for training. Being able to see much of the same information as on the Garmin Connect app and browser is useful. It did take seven days of reviewing the manual and many YouTube videos.

Excellent watch. Would prefer it came with a silicon band as well for swimming as the current band takes a while to dry
