De Garmin Instinct Crossover Zwart combineert het beste van twee werelden: een robuuste outdoor-smartwatch met analoge wijzers en een krachtig digitaal hart. De GPS is zeer nauwkeurig, maar mist helaas multiband-ondersteuning, wat bij extreme omstandigheden een nadeel kan zijn. Het horloge is stevig gebouwd, waterdicht en biedt een lange batterijduur, al is deze bij intensief GPS-gebruik iets korter dan bij de Instinct 2. Het hybride ontwerp is uniek, maar maakt het horloge wel dikker. De gezondheids- en sportfuncties zijn uitgebreid en vergelijkbaar met andere topmodellen van Garmin. Let op: kaartnavigatie is beperkt tot breadcrumbs en de band is niet snel verwisselbaar. Ideaal voor wie een unieke, robuuste hybride smartwatch zoekt, maar minder geschikt voor wie de allerbeste GPS-prestaties of een slank horloge wil.

Fantastic watch! All the features and sensors of the Garmin Instinct 2 line, but with physical hands - super easy to read, and the glow-in-the-dark substance that Garmin uses, really makes it easy to see at night. So far, the battery life is also amazing. Ive seen some posts online about condensation inside the top glass - I havent experienced that issue, perhaps it's more something to be concerned about in colder climates. I really hope Garmin continues making hybrid smartwatches; I love the aesthetic!

While it is a fully capable GPS smartwatch, it works as an analog watch. It’s not as tightly integrated as an Apple Watch, but it does everything I want. As long as you understand and accept the boundary, it’s almost perfect.

Bought as an upgrade for my husband for his birthday. Shortly after, he went away for 2 weeks with work into the depths of the NT & was so impressed with it, it’s functions & battery life. It ticked all his boxes & he now won’t take it off!
