De Philips Shaver Series 8000 S8692/35 biedt een zeer glad en comfortabel scheerresultaat, zelfs bij een langere baard. Dankzij SkinIQ technologie past het apparaat zich automatisch aan je baard aan en minimaliseert het huidirritatie door een speciale coating. De flexibele scheerkoppen volgen je gezichtscontouren voor een optimaal resultaat. Je kunt het apparaat eenvoudig schoonmaken en zowel nat als droog gebruiken. Let op: er wordt geen voedingsadapter meegeleverd, alleen een USB-kabel. Het prijsniveau ligt hoger dan bij andere modellen en de Bluetooth-app is niet voor iedereen relevant. Over het algemeen is dit een premium scheerapparaat met veel comfort en technologie, maar met enkele praktische nadelen.

Although a mid range razor, the closeness is a lot better than my last one. I find it glides over the skin. Not tried a wet shave yet, but I am more than impressed with my purchase. You only get what you pay for. Only downside the instruction book could be better.

Really disappointing. A regretted purchase. Over engineered, unwieldy and by no means intuitive. I an attempt to save paper, or production costs the instructions are just bizarre pictures of bits of the razor with no explanation. As such i have four or five things thst have gone into the bottom drawer of the cabinet, never to emerge. A pot of blue liquid, a bigger plastic pot, a wrird shape of plastic shaped like the razor head, but what is it all for, and how do you use it? Am sure it makes perfect sense to the design team but not to someone unpacking it for the first time. On top od thst the razor is needlessly huge and cumbersome- unhelpful for precision shaving your face, and the cutting wheels are so far from the edge if the head that you cant get to the whiskers under your nose. Reslly poor.

Het scheren met mijn oude apparaat was inmiddels een vervelende tijdrovende klus met irritatie achteraf geworden. Al een tijdje voor wat nieuws aan het kijken, en daarbij uitgekomen bij deze iets duurdere series. En het verschil mag er wezen! Binnen 3 minuten op een prettige manier weer fijn glad geschoren. Zelfs in de hals, wat altijd wel de vervelendste plek was. De bluetooth functie met app is niet echt nodig, maar op zich wel geinig om te zien dat je op de correcte manier aan het scheren bent. Al zal ik hier straks nooit meer naar omkijken. De handleiding is een beetje vaag, en je moet even goed kijken en nadenken om te snappen wat er bedoeld word. Voor dat geld had ik eigenlijk ook nog wel een beschermkapje erbij verwacht, maar gelukkig zit er wel een mooie etui bij die voldoende bescherming bied. Ik hoop dat de scheer resultaten over een jaar nog steeds zo fijn zijn!

The manual, in diagram form, is impossible to understand. It is full of symbols with no explanation of what they mean. I've spent considerable time trying to understand it all. Why is no manual, with clear explanations, available?
