Epson WorkForce DS-1660

This is a wonderful scanner when it does work. I have a newer Mac and 9 times out of 10 it will not read the scanner. I have tried everything Epson suggests and the only thing that seems to work is rebooting my computer and then turning on the scanner. I wanted to return this scanner due to this issue but again, when it does work it is fantastic.

I was really happy with the scanner when I bought it in June 2023. As time progresses I've been having issues. It does not automatically switch from glass to feeder. I have to turn it on and off depending how long I am going to scan with one of the devices. If the paper is too thin or too thick it will not grab it. Today, no matter what thickness of paper I insert, it does not pass from the back rollers. The only thing I am happy with, which I want to recognize, is the speed it scans. That helps a lot when I have to constantly scan papers.
