Bought to stabilise my connection, I am very satisfied with this Asus 4G-N16. Installation is quick and the management interface is intuitive. The signal is stable, even with intensive use, and the Wi-Fi range is quite good for a device of this size. It’s an excellent choice for those looking for a stand-alone network solution without unnecessary frills. LDLC service side: If you can throw away the chewing gum when talking to customers, it’s better

At first it was quite challenging to set it up however I am very happy with the product. What I like mostly is that it has a very good network speed and range.

Works perfectly. I've been using this Router for months, at about 300GB a month volume. It is very reliable and the menu allows you to change just about any settings imaginable. Fantastic piece of equipment.

Good product although web interface is very clunky. The router pretty much worked out of the box, 4G network found, wifi network available. However there seems to be no way to assign a fixed local IP address so the address of the printer can change every time the router is restarted. The router has 4 green lights indicating signal strength but the colour can change to blue sometimes. The documentation gives no explanation. Is blue rather than green good or bad. Asus, some explanation might help! The web interface is clunky and the SMS part is really hard to use. One other thing worth mentioning, some mobile providers use an APN and some don't. EE don't but Vodafone do. If the router fails to connect, it's worth checking the APN settings. The router should set this automatically but the Asus model doesn't. It's really useful to have 2 SIM cards from different networks to help sort out setup problems.
