Bought the Onkyo 6100 to replace my old SR608 that didn’t have eARC so wasn’t really connecting properly with my new LG oled tv. The receiver was easy to set up using Auto Start-up Wizard and I then used the remote and set up menu to manually check speaker setting's. Speaker distances needed correcting and I used a sound pressure level meter for level calibration values. I’ve got a 7.1 set up and I’m well pleased with the sound when watching movies and music dvd’s, an accurate and immersive sound stage. Was a bit apprehensive about the small remote control but in practice it’s fine. Only little negative being the speaker connections on the back of the receiver, they are rather close together which requires some patience!

Sound quality is there, whether you're listening to music or watching a good movie

I Purchased this a month ago and so far i can say i'm very impressed with this unit. It has great connectivity and i have no problem connecting to my other devices. I will say that there have has a few occasions when for some reason i need to do a reset as the unit would not start up as normal. I hope this can be rectified by a firmware update.

A great product and it performs to a higher standard than my previous Onlyo amp. As always the staff at Richer Sounds are very knowledgeable and helpful and take time to ensure you buy the right product.
