I have been using this for years. I have tried others, including Laura Mercier and Coty Airspun, but don't like them nearly as much as this one. It smells lovely, almost like earth and incense. Don't know how to describe, but I like it. I use a damp sponge to apply, just press it into my skin. It gives an airbrush finish and keeps me matte (but not flat) all day. I did deduct one star because it's a bit messy - the holes are a bit large, so a lot of powder comes out when you open it.

I strongly agree with the Dr Hauschka philosophy - green beauty all the way. Application was a snap, finely-milled powder was invisible, not too drying and not too shiny. Felt good, looked good and doing good. That lasted for 3 days, followed by 2 weeks of angry zits near my mouth and forehead. Aargggh, returned and never looking back or chancing it again. Oh, the container is a mess-maker and the powder smelled strange.

GREAT loose powder, neutral, very slightly pinkish shade. With silk powder, looks VERY natural and does NOT promote dryness. Does not look cakey at all, very natural and the mattifying lasts quite a while. I guess the color adapts to most skintones, it does not emphasize redness. Not suitable for dark skin tones I guess...

This powder is fantastic. It does a great job of absorbing oil without making me look cakey. If I use a mattifiying primer with powder foundation and Dr Hauschka's loose powder, I'm actually oil free for about four hours which is absolutely amazing for me. Usually my face starts looking oily after about 20 minutes. The powder blends nicely into my face and I can reapply later in the day without it looking heavy. It did take me a while to get use to the scent which is only noticeable when first applied. The only downside is the price.

Great product! You can put layer after layer and don't look cakey at all! I wear this over my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in Pastel B15 and it works great. Since I have seborrhoeic dermatitis I can't use a lot of powders. Either it irritates my skin or makes my dermatitis flakey and dry. This doesn't! I LOVE IT! It's also perfect as a primer for your eyeshadows! It has a lavender, woody scent but I don't mind since it smells great and because after 10 minutes I can hardly smell anything anymore. Not as matt as the most powders so for very oily skin you can better get the compact powder. But for my combination skin this is a definite HOLY GRAIL!! LOVE IT
