Hugo Boss Hugo Iced is een frisse mannengeur met munt, citrus en thee, die vooral goed werkt in de lente en zomer. Veel gebruikers waarderen het koele, schone douchegevoel en vinden hem ideaal voor casual momenten of de sportschool. De geur is licht, niet verstikkend en daardoor veilig op kantoor of in drukke ruimtes. Tegelijkertijd noemen veel reviews dat de prestaties middelmatig zijn: na ongeveer drie tot vijf uur is hij grotendeels weg en de projectie zit al snel dicht op de huid. Ook wordt hij vaak omschreven als vrij basic en weinig opvallend, met een eenvoudige, lineaire opbouw. Dit maakt hem minder geschikt als je een uitgesproken of formele avondgeur zoekt. Voor kopers die een betaalbare, frisse alledaagse geur willen en de matige levensduur accepteren, kan dit echter een prima keuze zijn.

If singularity were a scent, it would be this one. Iced is, in my opinion, not the right name, because what you get here is pure mint. Yes, there is a bit of tea in the base and vetiver; you just can't simply crush a mint leaf and dissolve it (or can you?). Overall, it's an extremely nice burst of freshness, without lemon but also without the usual synthetic mass of ambroxan and other stuff. A drier Mint & Tonic is actually a good reference. So simple, so good; you simply get a fleeting beautiful mint with minimal attachment, unfortunately lasting only 1-2 hours, but during that time you smell like toothpaste, for better or worse. It wouldn't be one for a collection of 5-10 fragrances for me, but it can stay just because of its uniqueness.
