Bvlgari Pour Homme Eau de Toilette 50 ml

The scent definitely smells very unique and very strong of incense, but not quite how I imagined it. I was looking for a gentle incense fragrance, but this one is unfortunately way too strong and intense for me. It has a strange note that I can't quite identify. For me, it's definitely not an everyday scent and only suitable for very special occasions in winter.

When my mother gifted me an Oilily perfume in my childhood, I always had an emotional connection to this brand and was always delighted by the scents that were released, as well as other fashionable masterpieces. For me, Oilily always had a feeling of security and love, warm and light at the same time. However, I must say that I cannot share the same emotions here. It is by no means a bad scent, but it is neither for children nor teenagers, and certainly not for young ladies, women, etc. - perhaps this fragrance has an identity problem and is unsure of where it actually wants to fit in. Nevertheless, I kept a bottle, simply on a sentimental level. Sandalwood was really hardly noticeable; the stronger scent for me was the floral notes, the cloves, the lotus, and the violet - a fragrance for spring, but perhaps not for me after all. I fear this perfume will not evoke any nostalgia for me.

I was handed a sample of this fragrance during my last shopping trip. Skeptically, I tried it out at home. But then I could hardly believe how well this scent unfolded. At first, it seemed very strong, and you could clearly perceive the ginger as well as the tea notes. Later on, these notes softened, and it became increasingly pleasant on the skin. So I immediately ordered a 50ml bottle and will be testing it thoroughly over a long period.

This fragrance has many imitators, but this is the original and real fragrance developed by Bvlgari.
