Dunhill Desire Gold is een betaalbare, fruitig-frisse herengeur die duidelijk is geïnspireerd op Creed Aventus. Veel gebruikers prijzen de aangename bergamot- en fruitopening en vinden de kwaliteit hoog voor deze prijsklasse. De geur presteert bovengemiddeld voor een eau de toilette, met vaak rond de zes uur draagduur en een opvallende projectie in het eerste uur. Tegelijk is hij weinig origineel: wie al Aventus of meerdere clones heeft, vindt dit vaak geen must-have. Een terugkerend minpunt is de verstuiver, die bij veel flacons pas na meerdere sprays goed gaat werken. Ook mist de geur de diepte en verfijning van het niche-origineel, al wordt hij juist daardoor als makkelijk draagbaar en kantoorvriendelijk gezien.

It smells great and I love it. This one holds a place in my heart. I never get any reactions when I wear it. Maybe it's to playful for daytime?Maybe it's cloying? Maybe it's played out? Don't know and don't care, it just smell freaking good. Definitely a night time/first to second date fragrance. For the price you can't go wrong. Great for the collection and the bottle is pretty cool to me.

This one is more aquatic and fresh version of the OG. But to me is not better, it got slightly sour note at begining and heart, not citrusy, that anoying me a bit. As well is good scent for spring/summer, the drydown is pleasant. In my country you can buy 30ml tester for 2.5-3.5 EUR, very affordable, but for the same price i go for the OG(RED). Also is 25-30% lower performance than the RED one, but you get 4-6 hours good performance, depending of skin chemistry and weather/humidity.

It really took me a while to get Desire Blue. After trying it several times, I finally get it, and I like it. It's a more tame, less spicy, and more youthful Desire. It's Desire's DNA with, toned down, with the addition of citrus and creamy vanilla. It gives off an orange creamsicle vibe, over top of the spicy Desire DNA. It makes for a layered fragrant experience, in this somewhat complex but very easy to wear scent. It's probably the best Desire in my personal opinion; and it's the only flanker that contains any trace of the original
