Animale Woman Eau de Parfum is een uitgesproken jaren-80 chypre met veel kracht en persoonlijkheid. De geur combineert bloemige, houtachtige en dierlijke tonen tot een sensuele, bijna dominante uitstraling, waardoor hij sterk opvalt en vaak wordt omschreven als een echte power scent. Veel gebruikers prijzen vooral de uitstekende houdbaarheid en het zware sillage: een paar sprays blijven gemakkelijk de hele dag merkbaar en laten een duidelijk spoor achter. Dit maakt de geur ideaal voor avonden, koude dagen en situaties waarin je echt aanwezig wilt zijn. Tegelijk is dit ook de grootste valkuil: bij te royaal sprayen kan Animale snel te intens en zelfs verstikkend worden voor de omgeving. De dierlijke en mosachtige accenten zijn bovendien niet voor iedereen; liefhebbers van lichte, frisse of zeer jeugdige parfums vinden dit vaak te volwassen en te zwaar. Wie echter houdt van klassieke, sensuele en krachtige geuren, krijgt met Animale Woman een opvallende en langdurige signature scent.

The top note is definitely very good, but for my taste, it is still way too sweet and, in my opinion, too "powdery". As it develops, I really only smell pineapple with a lot, a lot of imagination. However, no one should buy this scent if they are hoping for a fruity summer fragrance. Regarding longevity, I can only say that it is relatively low. Up close, the scent is barely present for me after 3-4 hours, so the sillage is hardly noticeable. In terms of price-performance ratio, you can't go wrong here, as long as you are aware of the points mentioned above. A big plus is that Animale Animale surprisingly appeals very well to the female gender. I had two women from my close circle test it with their eyes closed, and they ranked it even before L'Aventure and Armani Code Profumo, which, in my opinion, smell worlds better.

I did not know Animale had several scents or aromas. This is not the scent that I used to wear long time ago. They should put on the box the scent name so everyone could choose from, and not buying something they thought it was what they want it. I am going to be more careful next time.

Really liking this scent. To my nose it has kind of a boozy scent too. I believe this is a tobacco genre scent of cologne. Great buy for the price.
