Fellowes Powershred 8C

It was bigger than expected with a very large capacity, I love the safety features are great

The over run is to short and the cutters clog up, if you then run is reverse it just hardens the paper and clogs up. My previous Fellows shredder lasted 9 years. My cut off was the 17 Aug so I cant send it back so its going in the bin

Does seem to easily clog and constantly needs unclogging even though it's no where near full. Doesn't jam if you clear often.

We have had shredders over the years that have lasted many years. We knew there was a problem with this model almost from the off. You can forget how many pages it is supposed to shred at one time, 2 is often more that it can take before it clogs up, overheats and stops. The shredded paper doesn’t fall off the shredder blades but remains as a wadge that rapidly clogs up the blades. I strongly recommend that you avoid this model at all costs.

This item is simple to use and does not take up much room. The price was very reasonable and I would recommend this shredder as it really shreds the paper well. Although you can only do a couple of pieces at a time it is efficient and not very loud, Good Buy.
