Een eerste ervaring met dit objectief is positief! Voor de L-Mount camera’s is de keuze met lange lenzen niet heel groot. Maar met de Leica SL3 is dit wel een mooie combinatie. De lens is licht en niet te lomp en goed in balans met het werkpaard. Het is slechts een f5.6 maar de ruis bij hogere ISO waarden is zo goed onder controle dat ik er geen hinder van heb. De snelheid van de lens is wat minder dan ik gewend ben, maar nog steeds goed te doen. Moet nog uitproberen met motorcross en vliegende vogels.

This lens has got me back into wildlife photography again, sharp, excellent quality, and a joy to take out and about. Great for filming too.

Really pleased with this lens, so compact for a 500mm makes it a plesure to use. Excellent build quality, sharp and very fast focus even with a 1.4 converter.

Awesome sharpness corner to corner. Nice Bokeh and contrast. Balances well on SL3. A tad heavier than I expected.

Having owned the Sigma 500mm f4 a complete beast this lens is over half the weight and a pleasure to use. It is aimed at the very keen to Professional photographer who wants to get ultimate quality at 10x magnification in a compact small size lens ! Sigma seem to have hit a sweet spot with this lens
