Fujifilm XF 500mm F5.6 R LM OIS WR

The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 500mm F5.6 R LM OIS WR is one of the lightest super telephoto prime lenses you'll find and captures amazingly detailed images, making it an excellent choice for wildlife photographers.

A good experience from start to finish communication was excellent, lens arrived on time and the price was very competitive. I would have no doubts about using Harrison’s again.

The lens is easy (much easier then the -) to handle for fast moving objects and when working in windy conditions. The quality of the images is really good. Hair fibres on the coat a seal moving in the water at metres away are visible on one shot I've taken, for example. If you can work mobile and can use your legs for the "zoom function" and not be fixed to a hide this could be a better choice. Lens is very balanced when pivoting around on gimbal using both T and H Fuji bodies. I have to walk some distance over beaches at times and the weight saving is also a bonus for me.

I'm very pleased with my new Fujifilm XF 500 mm F5.6 R LM OIS WR lens. I've recently returned from a photo trip in Yellowstone NP and was delighted with the ease of use, handling and quality of photos produced. The lens is a dream to handhold in combination with the Fujifilm XT5.
