OPI Hawaii Nagellak - Pineapples Have Peelings Too

Pineapples Have Peelings Too! Is from the spring 2015 Hawaii collection and it is very easy to find for really low prices, as it was very unpopular with all of the bigger influencers on release. It has a yellow gold metallic base, filled with tiny bronze microglitter and larger more scattered hexes in pink, red, blue and green. I'd describe this as a pretty ugly polish - very unique and takes some getting used to. Formula is pretty standard for OPI; smooth, fast-drying and fully opaque in two coats. As the larger glitter hexes are more scattered in the formula it takes a bit of manipulation to lay them neatly, and it's a good idea to leave the bottle upside down before use, so that the brush picks them up easier. In general nail polishes will last me anywhere between two to four days with only minimal wear. But as I'm a self powered wheelchair user I'm tough on my hands and am always catching my nails, so I can't really speak for how long lasting the formula is overall.

I got this polish for 1.50 at Deals because of a sale they were having. I guess I'm lucky! This is a really unique polish. Not only because of the glitters inside the polish but because of the goldy-sandyish base! I don't think you can get any other color like this anywhere else. It applies well. It's not thick nor streaky and it can get opaque in 2-3 coats. It does take some time to get used to the uniqueness though but after a while it'll grow on you. I have only one minor problem with this. In order to get the full glitteryness awesomeness you will need to dip your brush back in the bottle and swish it around for a second. Literally just a second. 5/5 would buy again!
