Found this along with a few other essies for $2 a pop. Saw this in the bottle and fell in love. A deep blue/purple with flecks of glitter. I immediately thought of the galaxy. But upon application and on the nails it was just a deep blue. You barely can see the flecks of sparkle and that was disapointing. Formulas ok though. Took two coats. No patchyness or anything. But the color is deceitfully in the bottle. I wouldnt repurchase

I recently found this at TJ Maxx and it was affordable, so I bought it. The color looks absolutely stunning in the bottle! It has sparkles in it and it almost looks holographic. Once you put it onto your nail, it's not what you expect it to look like. The sparkle isn't as bright and noticeable as it was in the bottle. I was disappointed to see that but I went with it anyway. I was expecting this polish to last longer than most polishes, but it started chipping at the end of the first week of having it on my nails. The color is beautiful but it doesn't live up to your expectations. And for almost $9, I would just pass on this polish.

In the bottle this is a beautiful blue packed with blue and purple sparkle. Once it's on the nail it's not nearly as striking, unfortunately all of the sparkle got lost on me and was borderline undetectable in the finished manicure. Still pretty, just not what I expected.

I have worn this polish twice since purchasing it a month ago. This is pretty much unheard of for me. Normally I rotate through my collection and it can be a year or longer before I revisit the same color. But there is something special about this color that I've been loving lately. It is a deep sapphire blue with multi-colored flakies. The formula is slightly crelly-ish but opaque in two coats. It does pull a little darker on the nail, at least on my very fair skin tone. It reminds me of the ocean, color wise. The name makes me giggle too. Essie is not one of my top brands but I do love this color.
