De Tascam Model 12 is een veelzijdige compacte mixer die drie apparaten in één combineert: standalone mixer, USB-interface en multitrack recorder. Met acht microfooningangen, één-knops compressoren op elk kanaal en ingebouwde effecten biedt het uitstekende waarde. De mixer voelt goed gebouwd aan en is geschikt voor zowel studio- als live-toepassingen. Echter, de EQ-secties zijn relatief eenvoudig en er ontbreekt een invoerpad voor luidruchtige bronnen. De korte faders voelen minder premium aan dan sommige concurrenten, maar de algehele functionaliteit en prijs-kwaliteitverhouding maken het een sterke keuze voor projectstudio's en podcasters.

Manual is helpful (when you find the right section) Some videos on line to show settings for audio interface/DAW Controller - this took a bit of time to sort since the Ableton video is on a Mac and a couple of versions out and there was no video for FL Studio.... and those are the 2 DAWs I use, but I have got it sorted now and am much more knowledgeable on how the Model 12 works now

Very flexible mixer. So far I have only used the direct channels and output into the back of a Focusritte Clarette+ for recorfing. The preamps and EQ perform well
