Big bezel around this screen, the picture clarity is okay, but there is some colour bleeding. The connections are giving away the age and the price is out of proportion to its vintage. It certainly was at one time in the running, but I'm afraid its too long in the tooth to be a serious contender. I would be looking to pay an awful lot less for use as an everyday 27 inch screen. Only three stars.. JC

This is a very good Monitor. My PC has a discrete Graphics card, a NVIDIA GeForce GT720 so I am enjoying gaming on this large 27 Inch Monitor. It is also fantastic for Movies and general video consumption like Youtube. It is a nice allrounder. It is plug-and-play so it is easy to set up. It is energy-efficient, rated A+ which is way better than my 23 Inch Monitors which only manage a B rating. I have always gone for IPS Displays so this is my first TN Monitor. I am impressed at how well it renders colours because I expected it to not to match my IPS Monitors. I have it on dual Monitor Arm Stand alongside an IPS 23" so with desktop extended across both Monitors. I cannot see the IPS having an edge over this HP TN Monitor. It is just as vibrant and colours reproduction as great.

I’ve got this as a display for my gaming, and am very pleased with it. It’s sturdy and, most importantly, even with fast-moving action or video, the picture is smooth, sharp and has no ghosting. The brightness is excellent, and it works well with my Nvidia card. My only tiny moan is that you need the “MyDisplay” app to change the monitor settings. If you go to the monitor’s product page on the HP site, as instructed in the documentation, then the app isn’t there; however it’s easily locatable by searching elsewhere on the HP site.

I used this product for my Xbox and It works very well and the picture quality is very good but the thing that this monitor doesn’t have is an aux and or no built in speakers

My tech support guy couldn't believe it didn't come with a usb cable. But other than that it seems wonderful :)
