De OnePlus Nord CE5 biedt veel waar voor zijn geld, vooral door de lange batterijduur, het heldere AMOLED-scherm en de snelle prestaties. OxygenOS 15 en AI-functies maken het toestel veelzijdig en toekomstbestendig, mede door de lange software-ondersteuning. Wel zijn er duidelijke concessies: het geluid is mono, er is geen eSIM of NFC, en de plastic behuizing voelt minder luxe. De camera is prima voor dagelijks gebruik, maar niet geschikt voor wie veel waarde hecht aan video of nachtfotografie. Voor deze prijs is het een sterke allrounder, maar wie meer premium features zoekt, moet verder kijken.

Even though it’s taken a step back in a few areas over last year’s Nord 4, the OnePlus Nord 5 is still a great phone with one of the best selfie cameras I’ve ever used and a high-end 144Hz display that’s great for gaming and everyday use.
