De Honor 400 Smart valt op door zijn enorme batterij die makkelijk twee dagen meegaat, wat door veel gebruikers als grootste pluspunt wordt genoemd. Het toestel is robuust dankzij IP64-certificering en krasbestendig glas, en het 120Hz scherm zorgt voor een prettige gebruikservaring. Wel zijn er duidelijke nadelen: het scherm heeft een lage resolutie, multitasken is beperkt door slechts 4GB RAM, en er is geen mogelijkheid om het geheugen uit te breiden. De camera is prima bij daglicht, maar presteert minder in het donker. Voor wie vooral batterijduur en degelijkheid zoekt, is dit een sterke keuze, maar wie meer schermkwaliteit of prestaties wil, kan beter verder kijken.
