Hoya 58.0mm HD MkII Cir-PL

This is an excellent top of the range filter. The glass is of very good quality & the images appear to be crisper & somewhat sharper. The filter is very easy to keep clean of marks etc. Highly recommended.

I’ve always used Hoya UV filters in the past but having read that UV filters are not necessary for digital cameras, I’ve reverted to just using a protective filter, to help protect expensive lenses. It’s early days, but the filter wasn’t cheap, so I assume it will do a good at protecting th3 lens on my Sony RX10. The glass is supposed to be a lot tougher than other optical glass, s9 all should be well.

I bought this to fit my Sony 70-350mm lens, which being an excellent lens, deserved a decent filter. I’ve been buying Hoya UV filters for many years, but have decided that I really only need a protection filter. These filters aren’t cheap but the lenses they are protecting cost far more, so it’s worth paying out for a decent filter.This filter is supposed to have strengthened glass and won’t affect image quality. They also allow 99.6 % light transmission, which 8 find acceptable. So far, I highly recommend this filter.

Great price and service from Castle Cameras. I feel this filter is just the right balance of quality and cost, I have used Hoya for years, never without one on the front of an expensive lens.

Deze zijn erg goed. Omdat een aantal van mijn Fujifilm objectieven mij toch wat kostbaar zijn om zonder een beschermfilter mee rond te lopen dan ook meteen goede kwaliteit passend bij de kwaliteiten van het objectief. Werd netjes geleverd door cameranu.
