Had to throw it away. Burnt my hands on multiple occasions. Also, very weak, flimsy device. Very poor quality.

I have no idea why have I postponed this purchase for so long. And I can now make the fabulous Café Einstein eggs I enjoyed when in Berlin. I can boil them quite softly and evenly and then shell them almost as if they were poached. Brilliant!

... and always, *ALWAYS*, hard boiled eggs! How on earth is this machine supposed to work? For 1 egg, 2 eggs or the maximum of 3 eggs, exactly the same quantity of water is poured into the machine, then the switch is set for the "desired" softness/hardness and every single time this egg boiler creates *perfect* HARD BOILED EGGS! But I do not want hard boiled eggs for breakfast! I want nice, "coddled" type eggs with a soft, yellow, "dippy" yolk and a gently set white of egg. If that is what you want, I suggest you try other makes of egg boilers because this abortion of an egg boiler is absolutely useless for soft-boiled eggs. (And I have now had this machine for 3 weeks and have tried to boil 1, 2 and 3 eggs, using every setting available and I am now FED-UP and almost BUNGED UP with blasted hard boiled eggs. Definitely NOT recommended.
