Kenwood Spiralizer KAX700PL

I looked high and low for a spiralizer, not realising the best one I would ever need was an attachment for my K-mixer. It does a great job at spiralizing Zucchini and Carrots. Definitely recommend!

Makes nicest veggie pasta there is. Easy to use once to get to know the little trick to cut the vegetable in a little cone shape before cutting it.

First up, you have to order a piece to fit this spiralizer to the Kenwood mixer, and The Good Guys dont stock it. Went online bought the wrong attachment but it was replaced by the great Kenwood online team. Have used spiral machines for years that kept breaking, so decided to buy this spiralizer for my Kenwood mixer. But the attachment I feel will snap off if you dont support when pushing down hard veg through the spout, as the connector onto the mixer hangs out and doesnt fit firm onto the mixer. The main reason Im disappointed is it doesnt work for Sweet Potato, I get some spirals and mostly stuck wedges of sweet potato in the machine, the process is, Start with a new piece, gets stuck, unattach all parts and clean out, start over again and out of may be 3 sweet potatoes I end up with one bowl of spirals and a very large bowl of chunked pieces. So frustrating. Plus you have to put so much pressure on to get the sweet potato through the machine.

The spiralizer is so easy to use and clean, Im amazed at how quick it makes zucchini noodles and carrot ribbons. Im excited to try the other attachments, definitely worth the money.
