Good quality printer/copier/scanner. Useful additional feature would be horizontal paper tray.

I brought this printer last month. It works well and I have had no problems with using it.

Good for single page text printing. No duplex printing (manual sheet turn over/sheet refeed). Photos less sharp in terms of focus and also lighter exposure than Canon MP560 printer. Ink tanks are a plus. Goo dforo scanning old photo prints, etc.

We bought this as a replacement for a machine that used probably the most expensive inks in the world, which stopped us doing runs of flyers or leaflets because the streaks would arrive unpredictably but with certainty - if you catch my drift - if you wanted to print more than about a dozen coloured sheets. So far so good: print quality OK and it scans well and simply. Would like to have a handbook as it's very difficult to access the online instructions. Or is that just me? Recommended by 'Which?' so we got it, and we can put up with not having double-sided printing.

Purchased this product to replace a Canon MP560 printer I'd had for over 10 years. I agree with other comments that the G4570 produces photos that are lighter than the MP 560. I'm also finding overall photo quality is also less sharp but its early days and need to work through the online manual. Scanning function working well so far as is copying.
