De Garmin Forerunner 55 is een sporthorloge in grijs met een rond display. Het horloge biedt meerdere dagen accuduur in smartwatch‑modus en gebruikt GPS om hardloop- en trainingssessies vast te leggen. Het wordt bediend via knoppen aan de zijkant. Het horloge registreert basisgegevens over conditie en gezondheid en is bedoeld om aan de pols te dragen. Een polsband voor bevestiging wordt meegeleverd.

I love the function of this watch but it died after 7 months and since it failed after 90 days REI would not help with the factory warranty. You have to go direct to Garmin who only have support Monday to Friday during business hours and of course it failed a Saturday morning. I use my watch every day and you expect it to last much more than 7 months.
