De Urbanista London Blauw biedt een warme, gebalanceerde geluidskwaliteit en is comfortabel dankzij het lichte ontwerp en de verschillende eartips. De actieve noise cancelling is een pluspunt in deze prijsklasse, maar presteert minder dan duurdere concurrenten. De batterijduur van 5 uur per lading is voldoende, maar niet uitzonderlijk. Hoge tonen missen wat detail, waardoor deze oordopjes minder geschikt zijn voor kritische luisteraars. Er is geen app of equalizer voor persoonlijke geluidsinstellingen. De IPX4-certificering maakt ze spatwaterdicht en geschikt voor dagelijks gebruik onderweg. Over het algemeen zijn het veelzijdige oordopjes met een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding, maar verwacht geen topklasse noise cancelling of audiofiele geluidskwaliteit.

Swedish company Urbanista's new London earbuds cost $149 and offer touch controls, wireless charging, and ANC — pretty much everything that Apple's Airpods Pro do but for significantly less cash. And while they succeed in a number of ways, there are also some potential deal breakers involved.

The Urbanista London pack an impressive noise cancelling performance with good audio for what is a solid package. They’re not the best sounding pair available, and the wireless connection can be a bit sporadic, but if you’re after a cheaper true wireless with ANC, the Urbanista leads the pack.

The Urbanista London are a good cheap alternative to noise-cancelling true wireless earbuds like the Apple AirPods Pro, and with a slick, fashionable design, they’re ideal for the more style-conscious among us. The sound quality is pretty good, and while the noise cancellation could be better, it’s unusual to get ANC at all at this price, making them well worth a look if you’re on a budget.
