De Teufel AIRY OPEN TWS is een open-ear koptelefoon die ideaal is voor sporters en buitengebruikers. Je blijft omgevingsgeluid goed horen, wat de veiligheid vergroot tijdens fietsen of hardlopen. Het draagcomfort is hoog, ook bij een bril of helm, en de pasvorm is stabiel. De geluidskwaliteit is verrassend goed voor een open ontwerp, maar haalt het niet bij traditionele in-ears of over-ears, vooral qua bas en in rumoerige situaties. De batterijduur is prima, maar bij veel omgevingsgeluid moet het volume hoger, wat de accuduur kan verkorten. Voor wie comfort en veiligheid belangrijker vindt dan maximale geluidsisolatie, is dit een uitstekende keuze.

I have been looking for suitable earphones for a long time and have now found them with Airy Open TWS. In-ear hearing aids always slipped ou t of my ear when I was running and you don't hear the ambient noise - this is completely different with the Airy Open TWS. At first I wasn't sure, because the picture doesn't show how comfortable they really are to wear. In fact, you can adjust the earpiece to fit your ear exactly and it sits firmly on your ear. I wore them for the whole marathon and they never slipped or gave me any uncomfortable pressure points. Great product! Maybe they could think about even better controls, such as volume and switching via voice commands - that would be another advantage in competition if you didn't have to interrupt the arm movement.

These headphones are very easy to use. I wear hearing aids and have to take them out to use the AIRYs. Despite this, the headphones produce a very good sound, both in the treble range (very important for me, as this is where I have the greatest hearing loss) and in all other frequency ranges. The fact that you can't control the frequency response via an app is not a major issue for me, as I control this via my (HiRes) MP3 player. The perception of the surroundings is very good. I am delighted to have bought this product.
