De Stagg SHP-5000H is een betaalbare, gesloten studiohoofdtelefoon met een verrassend harde en duidelijke geluidsweergave dankzij de hoge gevoeligheid en neodymium drivers. De isolatie is goed, wat handig is in rumoerige omgevingen, maar de oorkussens zijn voor sommigen te klein en kunnen bij lang gebruik oncomfortabel worden. Let op: door de hoge gevoeligheid kan het geluid snel te hard worden, vooral op krachtige apparatuur. De bouwkwaliteit is eenvoudig, maar past bij de prijs. Ideaal voor beginners, thuisstudio’s of als reserve, minder geschikt voor professionele mastering of langdurige sessies.

As a lowish end price for this type of headphone I bought a pair almost taking a chance. I was pleasantly surprised on their arrival to find them very well packed, looked OK and then the subjective test. On my sort of music ranging from very low frequencies up to 14KHz [which I can just about hear] the reproduce quality was certainly good and didn't go into break up distortion if driven hard. Each side has an earpiece adjustment and once in use found them very comfortable and certainly not heavy on one's head. For the price with PP around £30 they're a good buy.

Brilliant pair of headphones with lovely sound. They need to push slightly tighter on your ears to get full bass. When you apply a little pressure on the ear cups the bass is massively improved.
