To get the very best out of these headphones, it is recommended that they are connected to seinheisers headphone amp HDV 820 using the balanced 4 4 cable Not the 6.3mm one These headphones overall have a very deep bassy sound to them, bit like the Beats headphones, but with a bigger soundstage. Having said that, sound quality is soley dependent on how well the cd tracks have been remastered. Poor remastering will definitely reflect on the playback as the sound will be dull and muddy. However good remastering of cds can bring out these headphones potential of producing a good powerful studio sound. However these headphones are definitely not worth the price as you have to pay another huge sum of money to get their dedicated amp to appreciate the sound.
