De Sennheiser HD 600 is een klassieker onder audiofielen en studio-gebruikers dankzij zijn neutrale, analytische klank en uitzonderlijke midrange. De hoofdtelefoon is comfortabel door de zachte velours oorkussens en de bouwkwaliteit is degelijk, met vervangbare onderdelen voor een lange levensduur. Het open-back ontwerp levert een ruimtelijk en natuurlijk geluidsbeeld, maar zorgt er ook voor dat er geen isolatie is en dat geluid naar buiten lekt. De bas is strak maar mist diepte, wat niet ideaal is voor liefhebbers van zware bas. Door de hoge impedantie is een aparte versterker nodig voor optimaal gebruik. Er is brede consensus over deze punten in de reviews; sommige gebruikers vinden de hoofdband wat strak, maar dit verschilt per persoon.

In my limited experience thus far, the sound signature of the HD 600 is quite neutral and doesn’t significantly lack in either treble or bass. It feels like a headphone I will reach for what I want to listen classical, jazz, blues, or environmental music at moderate levels without losing too much detail. The Sennheiser HD600 is a great headphone. The sound is quite clear and the imaging and sound stage are great. I was impressed with how detailed they sound when I used them and I think you will be impressed too. My only complaint is the headphones are bit clampy out of the box so you will need to use them for a little bit to get used to them. That aside, I would recommend the Sennheiser HD600 to anyone who wants a wonderful sounding headphone at a good price.

I've had to replace one speaker in that time but Sennheiser are very efficient in sending out replacements. Bought this for £325 at the time - seems like people are starting to cotton on now and prices seem to be rising and rising despite "better" updates from Sennheiser. That tells you something.
