De Sennheiser Accentum Black/Blue Special Edition is een draadloze over-ear hoofdtelefoon met actieve ruisonderdrukking en een ingebouwde lithium‑ion accu van 800 mAh. Het apparaat biedt volgens de specificaties tot 50 uur muziekweergave via Bluetooth met ruisonderdrukking ingeschakeld. De 37 mm drivers dekken een frequentiebereik van circa 10 Hz tot 22 kHz. Het gewicht ligt rond 222 gram en de headset is bedoeld voor dagelijks gebruik met mobiele apparaten.

Geluid is prima, maar draagcomfort vond ik bij mn vorige in ear beter (jabra; uit productie). Bij lang dragen gaat mn schelp pijn doen en je hebt anders het gevoel dat ze uit je oor vallen, maar bij de lichtste aanraking reageren de sensoren al. Ik heb ze pas 2 maanden.

De heel open aanpak van de Accentum Clip heeft zeker pluspunten, maar er zijn zeker ook situaties waarin het minder goed werkt. Die pluspunten zijn echter niet min, zeker in een kantooromgeving of tijdens het thuiswerken of studeren. Terwijl je muziek of een podcast beluistert, hoor je namelijk heel natuurlijk wat er rondom je gebeurt. Zelfs terwijl je rondloopt op straat is dat best fijn, al mag het dan ook weer niet enorm druk zijn. Een andere pre is het draagcomfort, dat heel goed is. De Accentum Clip kun je makkelijk uren dragen; je vergeet zelfs snel dat je oortjes draagt. Prima dus als je muziek wilt beluisteren zonder verrast te worden door je omgeving.

I should be used to Sennheiser: good product, but software so bare-bones that you really can't do much more than touch the volume buttons. They surprise me with a headset that doesn't let you turn off the noise cancelling. Well, yes, you can turn it off if you switch to transparency mode. So either I leave the noise cancelling on, which bothers me when I'm not outdoors, or I use transparency mode, where it sends me every little sound like my PC fan, my own breathing, the rustle of my clothes, the press of a key on a keyboard... It's comfortable on the head and works pretty well apart from that, but it's really a big problem and I would have liked to know before buying the product because otherwise I would have looked elsewhere. It's such a basic feature that I didn't even think to ask whether it was included. Well, I was wrong.

I bought these about a month ago to replace a broken pair and they have not disappointed. The sound quality is really good and the bass is strong.

I am elderly & have a certain amount of hearing loss. A friend recommended Sennheiser Headphones & I am very glad she did. I am not technically minded so setting them up took some time & help from the wonderful staff ay Richer Sounds in Bath. Once they were working I have found the incredibly helpful -far better than my NHS hearing aids. I can even walk around the house, away from the TV & they still work.
