De JBL Soundgear Sense Zwart is een open-ear draadloze hoofdtelefoon die comfort en bewustzijn van je omgeving combineert. Dankzij het open ontwerp en de draaibare oorhaken kun je hem lang dragen, maar sommige gebruikers vinden hem na langere tijd minder comfortabel. De IP54 rating maakt hem geschikt voor sport en buitengebruik. De batterij gaat tot 24 uur mee en snelladen is mogelijk. Vier microfoons zorgen voor goede gesprekskwaliteit, zelfs in rumoerige omgevingen. Wel laat het ontwerp veel omgevingsgeluid door, waardoor hij minder geschikt is voor wie isolatie zoekt. De geluidskwaliteit is goed, maar hangt sterk af van de EQ-instellingen in de app. Vergeleken met andere JBL modellen zijn er minder extra functies, wat voor sommige kopers een nadeel kan zijn.

As other reviews have stated, very expensive, and they broke within several months of owning them. One earbud stopped charging and there is no way to fix the issue.

I wanted to like JBL, but this was a disappointing first experience. I purchased the Soundgear Sense expecting a standard two-ear device. When one earpiece needed replacement, I was told the product is still being sold, but the individual left earpiece is “no longer available.” That leaves me with a half-working product and no real way to fix it. The only solution offered was a discount to buy an entirely new unit, which doesn’t sit right when the issue is a basic replacement part. At the end of the day, I support companies that stand behind their products, and this didn’t feel like that.

Use it for the gym and for running. The extra little support attachment used to run with is brilliant and definitely helps when out and about. Really good sound quality considering it’s open ear, great battery and comfy to wear.

I love these ear buds! The right ear bud won't charge anymore though and I haven't even had the case/ear buds for a year. That is enough for me to not want to purchase another set at almost $170.

Right side headphone started vibrating in less than 6 months. Not very convenient to take off and put them on. I almost lost one on the 1st day I bought. Then onwards, I am always anxious of losing them. You need to have the case with you all the time to charge or turn them back on.
