De HIFIMAN Sundara Closed-Back biedt sterke geluidsisolatie en een warme, volle klank met goede bas. De hoofdtelefoon zit comfortabel door de zachte oorkussens en stevige bouw, maar de klemkracht kan in het begin wat te sterk zijn. Het middengebied klinkt minder open, waardoor sommige details verloren kunnen gaan. Ook kan de hoofdtelefoon warm aanvoelen bij lang dragen. Er worden weinig accessoires meegeleverd. Voor wie zoekt naar een gesloten planar met veel detail en comfort, is dit een aantrekkelijke keuze, maar houd rekening met de genoemde nadelen.

I was advised to purchase the HIFIMAN SUNDARA in-store. I'm glad I took the advice as I have been using them with the Roland Boutique series of synthesizers. The quality of sound is absolutely fantastic! Even when I plug them into my mobile phone to listen to music, again the sound is superb! I would definitely recommend the HIFIMAN SUNDARA for any device.....

Sunara are headphones that cannot be missed and passed by indifferently. Great sound, full of details and life is their strong point. Maybe they are not as fast as edition xs or deva pro. However, they make up for it with a very good fit and excellent musical quality. They have good bass, great midrange and a pleasant, slightly more accentuated treble. At the current price of $299, they are a strong contender and a solid proposition for any music enthusiast. Therefore, I will be happy to put them on my list of must-have items. Great headphones worth every sum spent on them.

A steal for $130, nice mids and a decent punchy pass with good soundstage, not on par with the sundara open back but still very enjoyable, this is a good beginner pair of headphones.
