De Grado SR60x biedt een zeer open en gedetailleerd geluid, vooral in het midden en hoog. Dit model is licht en makkelijk aan te sturen, waardoor hij direct op een telefoon gebruikt kan worden. De geluidskwaliteit is opvallend goed voor deze prijsklasse. Wel zijn de originele oorkussens minder comfortabel en is de basweergave beperkt, vooral in het sub-bass bereik. Door het open ontwerp is er geen geluidsisolatie, wat hem minder geschikt maakt voor onderweg. De hoge tonen zijn sterk aanwezig en kunnen voor sommige luisteraars te scherp zijn. Over het algemeen is dit een uitstekende keuze voor thuisgebruik en voor wie een open, analytisch geluid zoekt.

Gekocht vanwege de enorm vele positieve reviews. Getest met hoogwaardige dac amplifier. Geretourneerd, net zoals 2 verschillende Grado’s, 2 Philips, een Sony, een Sennheiser, een JBL, een Dali en een Sundara. Uiteindelijk een Denon ah-d5200, een PSB M4U,een Cambridge Audio en een HiFiMan se400 gehouden. En een KZ PR1 voor erbij.

The cable is very very very stiff and quite thick. It is horrible. Your picture shows different cable. If I would need headphones to use in military tank than that would be it. Those headphones would be good if not for the cable which I can't change because it is glued inside.

The Grado SR 60xs have excellent sound and are incredibly comfortable. However, after just a month or two, the right headphone suddenly stopped working with no apparent cause. When I searched this issue online, I found that others have had the same problem with these headphones - several questions in forums had to do with the right headphone malfunctioning in this model. I'm disappointed in the manufacturing quality as well as in the difficulty of obtaining a warranty - these headphones were a g...

We love the Grado Labs headphones. The open back allows us to communicate while we record or mix. Our studio has been so much more productive. They made a great Christmas present and got here in time!
