De Focal Hadenys is een open-back hoofdtelefoon die uitblinkt in ruimtelijk en gedetailleerd geluid, met een verrassend krachtige bas voor dit type ontwerp. Dankzij het lichte gewicht en de comfortabele oorkussens is hij ideaal voor lange luistersessies thuis. De hoogwaardige materialen en afwerking geven een luxe gevoel. Let op: de Hadenys is alleen bedraad te gebruiken en door het open ontwerp minder geschikt voor onderweg of in lawaaiige omgevingen. Er is geen actieve noise cancelling aanwezig. Voor wie maximale geluidskwaliteit en comfort zoekt voor thuisgebruik, is dit een uitstekende keuze, al bieden duurdere Focal-modellen nog meer bas en detail.

I wanted some wired headphones to plug into my Naim NSC200. These look great, sound great and are comfortable to wear for long listening sessions. And they come with a nice case that matches the colour of the headphones. Impressed by the build quality and the sound, particularly the bass, which they handle very well.

Bought the Focal Hadenys headphones to replace very dated 'phones of yesteryear, and what a difference! After a period of running -in, their performance is opening up to create a wide soundstage and depth. Very responsive so they can be used at low sound volume without feeling that the soundstage lacks impact. With recordings (both LP and CD/tape) that are known for treble sibilance or overly-boomy bass, these phones are forgiving of recording imperfections and dig out detail and subtlety to present a smooth, engaging listening experience. Great design, really comfortable to wear, and the case is attractive, small enough to be portable, and very well built. The only criticism? - Focal don't market their own replacement earpads....for such a good product that would really put a cherry atop the icing on the cake.

It was a disappointment until they started to run in. Started to get increasingly better after the first hour. Apparently with these headphones running in affects the sound quality significantly. They are comfortable and sound great! I do not have much experience with this level of headphones, so I can not compare them to similar headphones. But I am happy with the purchase.

I bought these two weeks ago. The team in Reigate arranged for a demo pair to come in for me to try with a Roksan K3 amp to match my home setup. After an unrushed listening session I ordered some to collect from the shop. I'm very happy with the sound and comfort. These are for listening in a room where sound leakage is not an issue. The Reigate team are friendly and professional. I have bought from them before and had another good experience this time too.
