De Focal Azurys biedt een indrukwekkende geluidskwaliteit met veel detail en een krachtige bas, wat hem geliefd maakt bij muziekliefhebbers. Het luxe ontwerp met hoogwaardige materialen zorgt voor een premium uitstraling en langdurig comfort, zelfs bij lange luistersessies. Dankzij het gesloten ontwerp is de geluidsisolatie goed, waardoor je ongestoord kunt luisteren. De hoofdtelefoon is makkelijk aan te sturen en daardoor geschikt voor gebruik met smartphones en draagbare versterkers. Nadelen zijn dat de Azurys niet opvouwbaar is, wat hem minder handig maakt voor intensief reizen, en dat er geen actieve noise cancelling aanwezig is. Ook is de meegeleverde kabel aan de korte kant voor gebruik op de bank of aan een bureau. Over het algemeen is dit een uitstekende keuze voor wie waarde hecht aan geluidskwaliteit en comfort, maar mobiliteit en ruisonderdrukking minder belangrijk vindt.

The Focal Azurys are good for audio reproduction accuracy. The aluminum and magnesium drivers are well-matched and have inaudible harmonic distortion. These provide you with a warm sound signature that closely follows our target in the bass and mids, with a darker treble with good peaks and dips, so frequencies don't get buried or jump out in the mix. Their PRTF doesn't emulate the effect of an angled reference monitor because the headphones' design doesn't interact with your ear's pinna in the same way.

As a basic end user I can't recommend these enough. Source : PC Amp : Ifi Zen Dac 3 My music listening is normally on the rock side (e.g. linkin Park) or dance. Really glad I made the jump. I had an issue were the adhesive ring which holds the material against the foam ear cup came away. Richer sounds got me a replacement pair without any fuss. So far the replacements are OK.
