De Creative Aurvana Ace 2 biedt een indrukwekkende geluidskwaliteit door de unieke combinatie van xMEMS en dynamische drivers. Wel is de batterijduur gemiddeld, met 4 tot 6 uur per lading, en de actieve ruisonderdrukking haalt niet het niveau van topmerken als Sony of Bose. Automatische pauzefunctie ontbreekt, en sommige gebruikers vinden de treble te scherp en de bass te zwaar. Er is slechts één kleur beschikbaar en de pasvorm is niet voor iedereen ideaal. Over het algemeen zijn dit innovatieve oordopjes voor wie geluidskwaliteit en connectiviteit belangrijk vindt, maar er zijn enkele compromissen qua batterij en comfort.

Honestly, I expected so much more. I've been using the Google pixel buds for the last few generations and decided to give these a shot because they looked cool. Boy was I wrong. These were pretty overpriced for the features that lacked. The app doesn't work all that well and trying to pause, change, or raise the volume is a pain. Still have them, but will be swapping over back to the new pixel pros when they go on sale and then sell or give these to a family member as a gift.

The Aurvana Ace 2 in-ear headphones are lightweight, weighing just five grams per side, and have an IPX5 water and sweat resistant finish, making them ideal for sports activities. What is noticeable is the high level of isolation from the outside world, especially as the headphones do not emit much sound into the surrounding area.

All about the Eq tuning. They sound fun and detailed with some careful eq tuning to even them out across different genres. My preferred Eq is Flat with a raised bass. I found the trebble too hot to handle at higher volumes with certain types of music so kept this neutral and used the bass to add some warmth. The XMEMS driver is brutal and doesn't need much boost if any, unless you want it that way.

A decent if unremarkable pair of true wireless earphones that sound fine, cancel noise well enough and boast decent battery life. The problem the Creative Aurvana Ace 2 have is that there are more accomplished true wireless earphones out there for similar money.

The Creative Aurvana Ace 2 are great for audio with fantastic quality for earbuds, a long list of supported codecs and a reasonable maximum volume. However they're not so great in many other departments with problems in the touch control, battery life and app equalizer departments, to name just a few. For ANC, they're not an ace too…
