De Beyerdynamic T5 biedt een zeer gedetailleerd, natuurlijk en muzikaal geluid met realistische stemmen en een ruimtelijk geluidsbeeld, wat uitzonderlijk is voor een gesloten hoofdtelefoon. Het draagcomfort is uitstekend dankzij de zachte oorkussens en lichte constructie. De bouwkwaliteit is hoogwaardig, met duurzame materialen en een afneembare kabel. Door de lage impedantie is de T5 makkelijk aan te sturen, ook met mobiele apparaten. Nadelen zijn het ontbreken van actieve ruisonderdrukking en draadloze functies, de relatief hoge prijs en dat de kunstleren oorkussens bij lange sessies warm kunnen worden. Voor wie ultieme geluidskwaliteit en comfort zoekt in een gesloten model, is dit een topkeuze, maar het is geen alleskunner voor onderweg of sport.

Great headphone! I used to have AKG K7XX and Sony MDR Z1R. The bass on this is less than Sony MDR-Z1R. I prefer that more. I am wearing this constantly every time I am watching movies on my computer, listening to CD quality musics, gaming, or watching Youtube! It is an amazing can. The price is a little but high but I think it is worth it.

I have owned a pair of T5p's for a couple years now and I think they are excellent to use for studio use and for audiophile use. I had my cable customized by stefan audioart and also had the drivers replaced due to them being blown by their previous user. When i compare the sonic character of these headphones tonmy mackie hr 824 mk2 monitors they excell in the whole audio frequency spectrum, they have a extremely wide spacial imagery as well despite being a closed back design and are not thin sounding in any aspect. No reflections in the cups so there is great clarity. True sounding headphones, they are my go to's for tracking and processing audio in the studio and also for just enjoying listening to music

Like people, headphones are complex, multifaceted, and idiosyncratic. Each has its own particular version of reality, and the ones you ultimately like best are those you believe you can trust. That’s where I find myself with Beyerdynamic’s second-generation T5p (aka T5p.2) headphones: I trust them to deliver true, faithful, and at the same time pleasing sound. Their tonal balance has just the right amount of everything, from shimmery treble to rumbling bass, and I never have to question if a song is being misrepresented by them.

a very good headphones concerning the fact that it is closed. the open version, the T1 gives you a better overall sound quality and a better soundstage. however, i can warmly recommend this one of you cannot go for the open back cans. it is quite comfortable, not too heavy, the cable is fine, very detailed and it feels like that it has a flat response.
