De Audeze LCD-XC biedt een uitzonderlijk open en ruimtelijk geluid voor een gesloten koptelefoon, met een neutrale en gedetailleerde klank en zeer lage vervorming. De bouwkwaliteit is top, met luxe materialen en een robuust ontwerp. Wel is het gewicht fors, wat bij lange luistersessies oncomfortabel kan zijn. De prijs is hoog en de standaardkabel is niet gebalanceerd, wat voor sommige gebruikers een minpunt is. De treble is helder en sprankelend, maar kan voor gevoelige luisteraars te fel zijn. Over het algemeen is dit een uitstekende keuze voor wie ultieme geluidskwaliteit en isolatie zoekt, maar er zijn duidelijke afwegingen qua comfort en prijs.

Very impressed with these headphones. I'm not a well schooled audiophile, but as a laymen who was dissatisfied with his Beredynamic DT 990 Pros and wanted an upgrade, the Audeze LCD-XC certainly delivered. Very comfortable, responded well to EQ. Ear tingling.

These are well built beautiful headphones. A little on the heavy side and of course they are closed cans but tracking and even general listening they have rich punchy lows and quick an open sound stage compared to others I own or have tried. They are also quite comfortable. The only thing bad is the price but again if you look at the quality. They are a get what you pay for story.

Amazing headphone. It isn't on the same level as it's open-back cousin (also from Audeze), the LCD-X, but if you need to not piss off your co-workers, that's acceptable. Don't both buying without an Audeze Deckard amp/DAC or better.
