De ART HeadAmp 6 Pro is een veelzijdige hoofdtelefoonversterker met zes volledig onafhankelijke kanalen, elk voorzien van eigen toonregeling en mixopties. Dankzij de voor- en achteruitgangen en gebalanceerde XLR/TRS-ingangen is het apparaat flexibel inzetbaar in studio-omgevingen. De 'More-Me' functie maakt het mogelijk om per kanaal een eigen mix te creëren, wat vooral handig is bij opnamesessies. De versterker levert voldoende vermogen voor de meeste hoofdtelefoons, maar het formaat en gewicht maken hem minder geschikt voor mobiele toepassingen. Er zijn geen digitale aansluitingen en bij hoge volumes kan lichte ruis hoorbaar zijn. This is a pretty nice unit, but it just doesn’t deliver enough power to drive even modest cans like the ATH-M20s to a sufficient volume for studio use. I bought this so my band can rehearse at my house without lugging around amps and bothering the neighbors, but to get sufficient volume for everyone, we have to run the meters well into the orange and risk clipping.

I purchased this headphone amplifier for my recording studio use. I used Personus HP60 and Behringer HA8000. Both supplied insufficient power to the headphones when musicians play their instruments. This ART amplifier drives Beyerdynamic DT-880-pro-250 well. Knob layouts are well thought and the amplifier can be tweaked without requiring too much attentions. The circuit diagram, which is printed on the top of the unit, gives a great help.

This headphone amp is awesome, the sound quality is very clean and the build quality is surprisingly very good. I was skeptical because of the price but as soon as I took it out the box I knew I had made a good choice. This thing has a nice weight to it so you immediately feel like your getting your money's worth. I hooked this thing up and it works like a charm, I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Does what it should, and it does it well. Solid build, all channels sound great. Individual EQ and panning is an awesome feature, not to mention the LED lights as a visual for volume. I can't think of anything that doesn't meet my needs... Now if I could find six people to record with.
