Hoka One One Loopschoen 'STINSON 7' curry / lichtgrijs / zwart

I got these for a Camino trip. Used them for about 70 miles over a few months during training. Noticed the seam started separating. I was so surprised. Brought them back to REI, got several other options to test but none of them worked so I got these again hoping the first pair was a fluke. Took them on my Camino trip and although the shoes feel great, and I didn’t get any pain or blisters, the same exact thing started happening at around the same mileage so I’m bringing them back again. Too bad because my feet are happy in these.

I would not recommend these Hokas if you're looking for a durable walking shoe. I bought them about five months ago for long-distance walking. They performed well for the first two to three months, but their condition has declined since then. The inner seam has started to separate, creating a noticeable gap, and the soles already show significant wear. For a shoe marketed for comfort and long-distance use, I expected much better durability. The overall quality has been disappointing, and the shoe's structure appears to need a redesign.

My wife purchased these for a recent 500 mile Camino in Europe. While she really liked the fit and comfort, the inner lining on the heel failed miserably. The rest of the shoe held up well including the sole. I tried to have Hoka warranty the poor quality of the inner lining given the rest of the shoe was in great condition after only six weeks use and they refused. On the same journey, I wore a pair of Merrell Moab's and the inner lining along with the rest of the shoe is in great condition. Therefore I would not recommend these

Excellent product however the store has inadequate stock and poor selection

I’ve been wearing Hokas for years and as a once-loyal customer I’ve been sad to see the quality decline more and more through the years. I ordered the same Stinson shoes a year ago and the ones I received this year were not the same shoe. These ones feel cheap and stiff whereas my Hokas of the past have been great right out of the box. After a 6 mile hike, my feet have been very sore. I will be returning.
