I really love the DECT transmitter and sound quality but when you put it on the charger it auto powers on if it is turned off. You take it off the charger for the day and when you go to use it a few hours later the battery is at medium. You are forced to turn it off again after you remove it from the charger. If the computer is compromised this thing could also be listening when on the charger. It also makes no sense why they chose to use a micro usb port in the headset instead of USB-C.

Basically what it says in the title. Got given this from work to use and two of us in the office have the same problem. It won’t connect to its own dongle, can’t even connect it to our laptops by cable. Useless piece of kit to us now, broke in literally 3 days of being given it. Clearly not we’ll set up if you need to take your laptop to meetings away from it and it will be plugged in and out of the laptop. Added to that it only had acceptable sound quality and comfort.

Very difficult to connect. She it does, it is great. But I cannot afford to wait a long time to connect the headset.

My job means I have up to a dozen conference calls a day. Therefore the audio quality is for me of utmost importance. That also includes that the voice should sound natural and not like sitting in a box or the voice distorted. Using another Jabra model at work I was intrigued by the Jabra E55 and gave it a try in my home office. My call participant's feedback to my question about how I sound was overwhelmingly positive with most saying it is perfect. That compared with the easy setup, the lightweight design, the possibility to use it wired or wireless are the reasons to make it a firm part of my homeoffice setup.
