Singstar Celebration

Review: SingStar Celebration – SingStar werd jaren geleden aan de lopende band uitgebreid met nieuwe titels. Tegenwoordig is de franchise niet echt veel meer in beeld, totdat daar ineens SingStar Celebration verscheen als PlayLink titel. SingStar Celebration is eigenlijk precies wat je van de franchise kent en nu het onder PlayLink valt, kan je ook je mobiele telefoon als microfoon gebruiken. Met de telefoon in de hand namen we weer awkward posities voor de TV aan om met ons belabberde stemgeluid te proberen evenaren wat zangers en zangeressen allemaal uit hun strot krijgen.

Having played a friend's PS3 version of this years back, once I took ownership of a shiny PS4 it was one of the games I craved. I must admit to being a tiny bit disappointed as I being a middle-aged fogey, I didn't realised that I wouldn't recommend the majority of the tracks and to date, my young son, ten, hasn't been persuaded to play. I do like the fact that I can download the PlayStation microphone app onto my Android smartphone and negate the need to purchase additional hardware such as the PS compatible microphones. That said, I'll continue to keep the windows open and sing my heart out; I'm sure my neighbours are fine with this approach :) The price was excellent and the delivery, swift.

Great party game and even better that you can use your smartphone to use as a mic and play. Great fun with the family and parties.

My girls love this! Wide selection of songs, which each bare additional costs. Could always do with having more choice.

Has a decent mix of songs and the option to use your phone rather than buying a microphone is brilliant! Otherwise it does what it says on the tin! Arrived quickly and well packaged :)
