SingStar: Ultimate Party scoort laag vanwege het verwijderen van essentiële feestmodi die de franchise definieerden. Hoewel de gratis smartphone-app een innovatieve oplossing biedt en oudere microfoons worden ondersteund, is het microfoonvolume zo zacht dat spelers zichzelf nauwelijks kunnen horen. De songlijst van 30 nummers is beperkt en gericht op een jonger publiek, waardoor veel fans teleurgesteld zijn. Het grootste nadeel is dat gekochte content van PS3 niet volledig overdraagbaar is door licentiekwesties, en disc-swap functionaliteit ontbreekt volledig. Reviews zijn eensgezind: deze versie is inferieur aan oudere SingStar-games op PS3, die meer modi, betere liedkeuze en volledige functionaliteit bieden. Voor een authentieke karaoke-ervaring blijft de PS3-versie de betere keuze.

I bought this singing game along with a USB microphone to use with my girlfriend's PS3. The USB microphone was recognized by her PS3, but when I loaded up the game, it refused to work unless I used the specific SingStar microphone that is sold separately and costs around 4 times as much as the PS3 compatible USB microphone that i bought. Shame on SingStar for forcing people to use their own propitiatory (and expensive) microphone in order to use this game. There's no reason why the SingStar games should not work with a PS3 compatible USB microphone. My girlfriend was so excited to get the game and microphone, but it was a huge disappointed when we discovered that the game refused to work unless you plug in it's own propitiatory microphone! We ended up just singing to YouTube videos! What a disappointment! :(

I love singstar I own almost all of them so happy to have gotten this one new has some hits with the music was a little better picked but it's a fun game came clean n new with no scratches ♡♡♡ I love it

I cannot get this to work properly despite setting it up correctly & following instructions. I'm pretty tech savvy too. This was a waste of money but at least it was only $6.

Singstar is a great party game. It is also great for just practicing your singing. If you know anyone that likes to sing, this is a winning gift.
