Demon Gaze II op PS4 biedt een diep, turn-based gevechtssysteem en veel party-opties, waardoor het aantrekkelijk is voor zowel nieuwe als ervaren spelers. De voice-acting en het verhaal worden vaak geprezen, net als de instelbare moeilijkheidsgraad en de hoeveelheid post-game content. Minder positief zijn de eentonige dungeon-graphics, het verplichte grinden en de beperkte karakteraanpassing ten opzichte van het eerste deel. Ook worden sommige minigames als overbodig ervaren. Over het algemeen is het een sterke dungeon crawler, maar niet zonder duidelijke minpunten.

Story was good but I didn’t know that it’s more like a visual novel game. I should have done more research but none the less I gave it a shot and what I played wasn’t half bad. I would definitely recommend this to people who have played VN type of games and people who want to have a first good experience.
