Extinction biedt een interessant concept met reusachtige vijanden, maar heeft te kampen met repetitieve gameplay en slechte prestaties. De visuele stijl is aantrekkelijk, maar de verhaallijn is flauw. Het spel mist variatie in missies en heeft geen co-op optie. Voor de huidige prijs is het moeilijk aan te raden.

Thought the game was an RPG but was devastatingly disappointed. the whole idea of fighting giants was stupid. the characters abilities weren't bad but trying to kill massive giants in a certain time limit killed the game. if the giants were half the size and roamed the land in a RPG format where you could attack them and save people or just leave them to die. I think that would be better. the game could've had potential in a storytelling format but to only use cities as battle grounds killed any enthusiasm i might have had for the game. if the creators took a lord of the rings type of story telling where the character has to find and kill who or whatever is summoning all the giants. might have been better. i didn't play more than 30mins- 1hrs long. terrible game.
