Fallout 76 Wastelanders biedt een grote, gedetailleerde wereld om te verkennen en heeft het verhaal en de interactie verbeterd met echte NPC’s. Samen spelen en bouwen zijn sterke punten, maar het spel blijft hangen in een repetitieve gameplay-loop. Technische problemen, vooral op PC, kunnen de ervaring verstoren. Quests zijn soms saai en het verhaal wordt vaak verteld via opnames in plaats van levendige dialogen. Updates zijn groot en regelmatig, wat zowel een voordeel als nadeel kan zijn. Geschikt voor fans van open wereld en multiplayer, minder voor wie een diep, verhaalgedreven RPG zoekt.

It wasn’t until after I installed the game and launched it that I learned it’s only playable if you pay for Xbox online access every month. Basically wasted my money.

i'll admit at first it wasn't a good game but since they updated it it's allot better and you don't need fallout first to play

It is a good game, but I didn't expect to have to pay for an additional pass to play it.

I tried this game back in 2019 and didn't like it. Then earlier this year back in April I tried it again because I had heard of the new updates and it is such a great game now.

Definitely glad I waited to buy this game. With the bug fixes and updates I've come to love this game almost as much as 3 and NV, surpassing 4. I'm really happy they brought back weapon and armor repair. The base game quests are pretty meh, but the other mission depth and fun events make up for that downer. I think really the only downside to the game for me personally is paying for fast travel, which is mostly a byproduct of how massive the map is. IMHO i believe the map is too large, and would prefer a smaller, more condensed version. Overall I am incredibly satisfied with the game so far. I understand the initial backlash to playing quality, but I really think Bethesda and the community have made a push in the right direction.
