Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 biedt alle acht X-games, wat het een complete ervaring maakt voor fans en nieuwkomers. De platformactie is nog steeds sterk en de extra's zoals museum, muziekspeler en art galleries geven veel nostalgie en achtergrondinformatie. De X Challenge-modus voegt een leuke, uitdagende twist toe. Wel zijn de latere games in de collectie (vooral X6 en X7) minder goed ontvangen door hun mindere kwaliteit en gameplay. Ook zijn de grafische opties beperkt en zijn cutscenes en voice-acting niet opgepoetst. Voor wie op zoek is naar een uitgebreide Mega Man X-ervaring met veel extra's, is dit een aanrader, maar houd rekening met de wisselende kwaliteit van de latere titels.

Fun games, I'd played Mega Man 7, and 8 before and enjoyed them. Never got to play 9 or 10, but they were both cool throw backs to the older NES Mega Man games, and as an added bonus it was cool to be able to play as Proto Man and Bass.

My 11 year old really enjoyed that it was collection of the classics and was a great adventure game. My 15 year old said it had a solid platform.

Not as good as I thought it would be. Only two of the games were worth playing. 9 and 10 are terrible.
