Even with a sporty little hatchback, i’m now able to take my bike to trails without worrying about taking the bike apart and getting mud all over the inside of my car.

Works effortlessly. Great product! Will be getting a second one.

Initially i wondered if the issue was using a road frame with this design. But then had the same issue with a gravel and then a mountain bike. The front system would wiggle itself lose and start to fall off the wheel leaving only the rear ratchet to save the bike from falling off. In all three scenario's thankfully I was able to pull over before it fully failed and damaged the car as well. Tried a number of things, and several reviews on youtube noted the same issues with too much wiggle and play in the setup. I ended up throwing it out, I've never had a rack be so horrible and even reviewed over and over the instructions to ensure I was using it correctly.

This is a very solid and stable product. Was easy to install but I needed to watch a u tube video on how the best install and secure my bike as this part wasn’t included in the instructions . Also just note that this unit doesn’t come with a lock, that part is an extra which cost me an additional $20 which I think is a bit rude.

I bought this roof rack and the rack itself is quite good. However, please note that it does NOT come with locks. You have to buy these seperately. This is why I gave this rating only 2 stars. Thule products are not cheap, and I was quite upset to see that I had to pay EXTRA for 2 little barrel locks. This has left a me with a very bad impression of Thule.
